But then, as we take steps of faith, the Lord begins to heal the sharp edges and repair the broken parts. Not immediately, but over time, transformation happens.
We can become discouraged because of our flaws, struggles, or areas where growth seems slow. Paul assures believers that the same God who started His work in our hearts faithfully continues it.
Spiritual growth doesn’t happen overnight. The lifelong journey teaches trust, surrender, and becoming more like Christ. Like the waves shaping the glass, God’s gentle work often happens through waves of challenges, the sands of daily experiences, and the tides of His grace. While we may not see the transformation happening day by day, the Lord steadily shapes us into something beautiful for His glory.
