Understanding the vastness of creation and the Creator can’t happen from our human perspective. Look around at your surroundings. Writing from my backyard, I see green grass, towering trees, and flowers in bloom, all of it created by God for us.
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” Genesis 1:1
Life began because God initiated it. When the earth had no shape, he gave it one. With four words, “Let there be light,” (Gen. 1:3) God dispelled the darkness, and the world came into existence.
All of creation glorifies God. Watching the sunrise or set mesmerizes us with its beauty. The changing seasons illustrated the circle of life and the need for change. Waves crashing against the shore, coming from depths beyond our comprehension all the work of the Lord’s hand.
As you enjoy these last days of summer, let the beauty of creation draw you closer to the Creator. Thank God for the beauty He created, and enjoy the blessings of nature. All the earth sings of the Lord’s sovereignty, the work of His hands in every molecule, combined to form the world we know.
