<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nDaily Reading:<\/strong> Zechariah 2:1-3:10<\/strong><\/a>, Rev. 13:1-13:18<\/strong><\/a>, Psalm 141:1-10<\/strong><\/a>, Proverbs 30:18-20<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Daily Verse:<\/strong> \u201cThis is the way of an adulteress: \u00a0she eats and wipes her mouth\u00a0and says, \u201cI have done no wrong.\u201d Prov. 30:20<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Insensitivity to sin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Having no regard for immoral behavior, the adulteress doesn\u2019t care about the consequences of her actions.\u00a0 In other words, she possesses an insensitivity to sin.\u00a0 The femme fatale has a hardened heart and a lack of self-awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Continually doing the wrong thing causes the heart to lose sensitivity.\u00a0 Eventually, the wall around the soul becomes impenetrable. \u00a0Stuck in distorted thinking, our perception becomes a reality.\u00a0 Harden hearts don\u2019t receive help because they don\u2019t think they need it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhat good does it do to get angry?\u201d Mom said on many occasions to me.\u00a0 Because I had an angry heart, feeling cheated by life, it came out in many ways.\u00a0 My mother tried to help me see the problem, but my hardened heart wouldn\u2019t listen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Until I met my husband, whose love for me finally penetrated the wall I erected and began to pull the bricks down, a work still in progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Only unconditional love can conquer hardened hearts.\u00a0 Jesus offers the cure for our sinful nature and waits patiently for us to let Him into our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n Lord, forgive us for hardening our hearts to our sinful ways.\u00a0 Open our eyes to see the areas we must give to You.\u00a0 Help us find life to the fullest as we soften our hearts and accept Your grace.
