<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nDaily Reading:<\/strong> Hosea 1:1-3:5<\/strong><\/a>, 1 John 5:1-21<\/strong><\/a>, Psalm 124:1-8<\/strong><\/a>, Proverbs 29:5-8<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Daily Verse: <\/strong>\u201cAn evil man is\u00a0ensnared in his transgression,\u00a0but a righteous man\u00a0sings and rejoices.\u201d Prov. 29:6<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Sense of security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Doing the right thing gives a sense of security.\u00a0 Knowing, whatever the situation, you took the high road and went above and beyond helps us move boldly forward.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n On the other hand, when we weave a web of lies and deceit, we\u2019ll find ourselves caught in the net.\u00a0 Recently, a southern reality show captured Ron and I\u2019s attention.\u00a0 One character told so many lies she no longer knew the truth from reality, alienating everyone around her and causing heartache to herself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We have a choice, high road or low one.\u00a0 Although we can\u2019t control the world around us, we can control how we respond.\u00a0 When difficult situations occur, we can choose to become bitter or better.\u00a0 Bitterness takes root quickly; we must work to become better, not letting the negative emotion begin to grow.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Live a life of singing and rejoicing by consistently doing the right thing.\u00a0 Avoid self-made traps by choosing better over bitter.<\/p>\n\n\n Lord, forgive us for choosing the low road and getting entangled in our traps.\u00a0 Please give us the courage to do the right thing, no matter what.\u00a0 Help us become better, not bitter.\u00a0 IJNIP.
