Effects of Alcohol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drinking alcohol in moderation doesn\u2019t cause the problems excessive drinking does. Jesus\u2019 first miracle turned water into wine. But the problem begins when we lose control of the amount of alcohol consumed, which happens way too quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moderating alcohol in my life started in high school after my dad died. Senior year, while on crutches, I got drunk for the first time. My college years included many drunken nights and lost memories. Thankfully, when I became a Flight Attendant, random drug and alcohol tests curbed my use. But I still managed to overindulge on occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this point in life, I only drink occasionally, preferring the sober lifestyle because it comes with no regrets, nasty hangover headaches, or forgotten words and actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alcohol\u2019s deceitful nature makes it easy for anyone to overindulge. Having one more drink doesn\u2019t seem like a problem, but it has significant repercussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only you and God know the effects of alcohol in your life. Talk to Him about your relationship with alcohol and how it affects your life.<\/p>\n\n\n
