<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nDaily Reading:<\/strong> 1 Chronicles 26:12-27:34<\/strong><\/a>, Romans 4:13-5:5<\/strong><\/a>, Psalm 14:1-7<\/strong><\/a>, Proverbs 19:17<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Daily Verse:<\/strong> \u201cWhoever is generous to the poor lends to the\u00a0Lord, and he\u00a0will repay him for his\u00a0deed.\u201d Prov. 19:17<\/p>\n\n\n\n Generous living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou can\u2019t out give God,\u201d I say every time Ron and I discuss giving. He\u2019s heard the saying so many times; Ron often says it for me. When I started tithing in my late 20\u2019s, I began trying to outgive God, and haven’t succeeded yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n My business partner works with the homeless at a local church. Of all the things I donate, they love reading glasses the most. Whenever I give, she tells me how much they loved whatever I sent. Shoes, underwear, and t-shirts always have the highest demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n God\u2019s rewards come in various ways. After paying the bills from my recent hospital stay, Ron and I thank God for insurance and good health. Praise the Lord for healthy bodies that allow us to serve Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Happiness doesn\u2019t come on a dollar bill. True joy comes from serving the Lord and putting into practice His commands. The rewards we enjoy for living a generous life have more value than money. Once we start counting the blessings, we\u2019ll find the list never ends.<\/p>\n\n\n Lord, thank You for our blessings. Let Your gifts pour through us to those around us. Give us hearts to live generous lives, helping those in need when we see them. Help us give freely and without reserve. IJNIP.
