Gift from God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finding a suitable mate, particularly a wife, brings God\u2019s favor. My sister-in-law told me long before I met my husband, \u201cYou\u2019ll make a good wife.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I didn\u2019t understand why she said that at the time. Proverbs 31:10-31 titled \u201cThe Wife of Noble Character,<\/em>\u201d hung framed beside my bed for years. I read the verses every morning and asked God to mold me into her.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA wife of noble character\u00a0who can find? <\/em>She is worth far more than rubies. <\/em>Her husband\u00a0has full confidence in her<\/em> <\/em>and lacks nothing of value.\u201d Prov. 31:10-11<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following 19 verses describe the characteristics of a wife of noble character. As I go about my days, rising early, working hard, and becoming a Godly wife to Ron, I think of different verses, praying them into our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Read over the description of the wife of a noble character. Delight in God\u2019s word and let it take root in your heart.<\/p>\n\n\n

Lord, thank You for giving us scripture to guide and direct us. Help us become wives of noble character. Let husbands receive the Lord\u2019s favor because of the wife they chose.
