Surface appearances deceive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When my mom went furniture shopping, she always dressed down. She reasoned that the salesperson wouldn\u2019t try to upsell her because they assumed from her appearance that she had no money. Mom had a simple philosophy; no one needs to know what she had or didn\u2019t have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

People\u2019s appearance doesn\u2019t indicate their financial standing. According to Ramsey Statistics<\/a><\/strong>, more than 1 in 3 people making over $100,000 a year live paycheck to paycheck. 34% of Americans have no savings at all, and 40% of Americans say they use credit cards more than any other form of payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t believe everything you see. Just because someone acts like they have money doesn\u2019t mean they do. And often, the people who look penniless have wealth. Surface appearances deceive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apply Biblical principles to your finances, and you will find financial freedom. Putting God first and tithing 10% will show you the truth. God can do more with 90% than you can do with 100%. God\u2019s our provider; in Him, you can trust.<\/p>\n\n\n
