In a world wrought with heartache, people doing and saying horrendous things to each other, the pain appears palpable sometimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But the things of this world don\u2019t last. Evil intentions don\u2019t win. Following in Christ gives us the hope of eternal life to come. Worldly wealth doesn\u2019t stop death from coming. And U-Hauls don\u2019t follow anyone into eternity. We leave the earth with what we had at its entrance: nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Christ in us gives us peace on earth. Our treasure waits for us in heaven, not here. No mind can genuinely imagine the afterlife; we all have our interpretations of heaven. Our best day on earth can\u2019t compare to our first day in heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Without Jesus, people don\u2019t have the same hope. One decision turns life around. Trusting and following Christ changes lives, one decision at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n Lord, forgive us for missed opportunities to share Christ\u2019s love.
