<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nDaily Reading:<\/strong> Leviticus 15:1-16:28<\/a><\/strong>, Mark 7:1-23<\/strong><\/a>, Psalm 40:11-17<\/strong><\/a>, <\/strong><\/a>Proverbs 10:13-14<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Daily Verse:<\/strong> \u201cOn the lips of him who has understanding, wisdom is found, but\u00a0a rod is for the back of him who\u00a0lacks sense.\u201d Prov. 10:13<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Fools don\u2019t learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different outcome defines insanity. Eating chocolate every night before bed won\u2019t cause me to lose weight. Nor will snacking all evening. However, maintaining a healthy diet and exercising regularly will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n People who lack sense don\u2019t learn from their mistakes, instead repeating them. To learn, we must take responsibility for our actions, adjust and change what we do. We can\u2019t grow any other way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSometimes you need a pat on the back; sometimes you need a kick in the rear. You need the latter.\u201d\u00a0 My professor\u2019s words to me over 30 years ago still ring true. Foolish in my ways, not studying, skipping class, he gave me wise words I\u2019ve not forgotten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For fools to learn, they need a nudge in the right direction. And even then, they may not change their ways. Thank God I did.<\/p>\n\n\n Lord, thank You for nudging us in the right direction. Forgive us when we get stuck in a rut, refusing to learn the lesson.
