<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nDaily Reading:<\/strong> Exodus 37:1-38:31<\/a><\/strong>, Matthew 28:1-20<\/a><\/strong>, Psalm 34:11-22<\/a><\/strong>, Proverbs 9:9-10<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Daily Verse:<\/strong> \u201cGive instruction\u00a0to a wise man, and he will be\u00a0still wiser;\u00a0teach a righteous man, and he will\u00a0increase in learning.\u201d Prov. 9:9<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Instruction never ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In a message series titled \u201cBlessings,\u201d our pastor\u2019s current teaching comes from the Beatitudes. Talking about growth, he asked us what we did to continue growing. One of his questions convicted me: what readings outside the Bible did we do to help us mature in our walk with Christ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n If we want to keep moving forward, we must remain teachable. Pondering the pastor\u2019s question, I became convicted about committing to reading more books to help me grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhat is down in the well comes up in the bucket. Fill yourself with positive things.\u201d <\/em>Tony Dungy, \u2018Uncommon\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n We choose what instructions we follow.\u00a0 Filling our hearts well with positive things means reading and memorizing scripture, engaging with Christ\u2019s followers, and continually finding ways to learn and grow.<\/p>\n\n\n Lord, illuminate unteachable areas in our life.\u00a0 Soften our hearts and minds to receive instruction, knowing we always have more to learn.\u00a0 Let us live blessed lives as we apply Your teachings to our lives.
