Peti, \u201csimple\u201d in its original form, means \u201csomeone easily deceived.\u201d\u00a0 Learning cunning helps us spot deception and avoid it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Planning a summer vacation, I asked for recommendations in a Facebook group. Someone planning a similar adventure messaged me through the app. Before I could accept the message, a warning popped up, telling me how to spot scammers. In other words, Facebook helped me learn prudence in receiving messages from strangers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Scripture helps spot deception, acting like a warning sign on social media. What motivates our hearts motivates our actions. The love of money causes many people to do illicit things. A heart dedicated to Christ takes a different path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Learn prudence by reading and applying the scriptures to your life. Let God\u2019s sense plant in your heart, guiding and directing you on the path of eternal life.<\/p>\n\n\n Lord, thank You for the scriptures, and the wisdom found within the pages of the Bible.
