<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nDaily Reading:<\/strong> Genesis 46:1-47:31<\/strong><\/a>, Matthew 15:1-28<\/strong><\/a>, Psalm 19:1-14<\/strong><\/a>, Proverbs 4:14-19<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Daily Verse:<\/strong> \u201cThe way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know over what they stumble.\u201d Prov. 4:19<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Walking wicked paths leads to stumbling. Fumbling in the dark causes people to fall.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Wickedness exists inside us; if it didn\u2019t, we wouldn\u2019t need Jesus. Left to our own devices, like sheep, we can wander into dangerous territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c<\/em>All we like sheep have gone astray;<\/em> <\/em>we have turned\u2014every one\u2014to his own way;<\/em> <\/em>and the <\/em>Lord<\/em> has laid on him<\/em> <\/em>the iniquity of us all.\u201d Isaiah 5<\/em>3:<\/em>6<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Going astray from Jesus causes bruised shins and twisted ankles from stumbling in the dark. But when we keep our eyes focused on the Lord, He illuminates our path and makes them straight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sheep know the Shepherd\u2019s voice, following Him with complete trust. But when they get out of earshot, trouble happens.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jesus helps us avoid the stumbling blocks of humanity when we follow His ways, allowing Christ to illuminate our paths.<\/p>\n\n\n Lord, forgive us for straying like sheep. Tune our ears to Your voice today as we move forward. Illuminate our paths and keeps us from wicked ways. Help us become more like Jesus. IJNIP.
