<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nDaily Reading:<\/strong> Genesis 11:1-13:4<\/strong><\/a>, Matthew 5:1-26<\/strong><\/a>, Psalm 5:1-12<\/strong><\/a>, Proverbs 1:24-28<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Daily Verse:<\/strong> \u201cBecause I have called and you refused to listen, have stretched out my hand and no one has heeded,\u201d Proverbs 1:24<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n When we ignore the wisdom in God\u2019s word, we will cause ourselves a heap of trouble. After offering burnt offerings to the Lord, God\u2019s responded to Solomon, asking the new king what he wanted. Solomon answered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cGive me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, 2 Chronicles 1:10<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Solomon\u2019s response pleased God because he didn\u2019t ask for selfish things but wisdom. A wise man, Solomon knew he didn\u2019t have all the answers to life\u2019s dilemmas, but God did. Tapping into divine strength helped Solomon rule Israel well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We have the same opportunity as Solomon. Each day, we can submit our lives to God, asking for His wisdom and discernment to lead us. With the Lord, we find life to the fullest. Ignoring God\u2019s teachings leads us to places we don\u2019t want to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Don\u2019t ignore God\u2019s warnings; follow Him and seek His wisdom.<\/p>\n\n\n Lord, forgive us for ignoring You. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear Your work in our lives. As we seek Your wisdom, let it reign in our life. With You, all things become possible. IJNIP.
