<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nDaily Reading:<\/strong> Genesis 3:1-4:26<\/strong><\/a>, <\/strong><\/a>Matthew 2:13-3:6<\/strong><\/a><\/strong>, <\/strong><\/a>Psalm 2:1-12<\/strong><\/a><\/strong>, <\/strong><\/a>Proverbs 1:7-9<\/strong><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Daily Verse:<\/strong> \u201cThe fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.\u201d Proverbs 1:7<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Fear, in its original Hebrew, means reverence. When Solomon talks about \u201cfear of the Lord,\u201d he means acknowledging God\u2019s power and sovereignty. God rules all things; we control nothing, and the Lord controls everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Knowing the truth enables us to let go and let God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Showing reverence to God means admitting we don\u2019t know everything. Convincing narratives doesn\u2019t equal truth. Unless present, we don\u2019t know what other people think and speak. We can\u2019t possibly see the condition or motives of other people\u2019s hearts. Therefore, we can\u2019t know everything. But God does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With God, we don\u2019t need to know all the facts; we can trust in Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Foolish people think they know everything, their actions revealing their thoughts. Wise people recognize their limited perspective and submit to God in awe of His sovereignty. Tapping into the Lord\u2019s divine knowledge helps us become wise.<\/p>\n\n\n Lord, let Your wisdom reign in us as we submit our lives to Your sovereignty. Forgive us our foolish ways; help us always turn to You. Let our fear of You lead us to Your divine knowledge. IJNIP.
