Daily Verse: <\/strong>\u201cThen I saw in the right hand of him who was seated on the throne<\/em> a scroll written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals.\u201d (Revelation 5:1 ESV<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THRONOS (2362): <\/strong>\u201cAs a noun, means \u201ca throne, a seat of authority,\u201d is used of the \u201cthrone\u201d of God.\u201d[1]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seat of Authority.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

God sits on His throne, the seat of authority for all creation.  Everything comes from the Lord, the Creator of the world, the universe, and life itself.  Without God, we can\u2019t exist.  Each breath we inhale comes from the oxygen God provides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many commentaries exist about the seven seals and what they mean.  Whatever they contain, God knows, and I trust Him.  God\u2019s sovereignty amazes and confuses me.  I don\u2019t quite know how the Lord knows all and sees all.  But I do know God does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scientists develop theories and try to prove them.  Often, they develop faith as they recognize the intricacy of creation.  Some higher power must have designed life.  Other scientists refuse to admit the possibility of God\u2019s existence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Divine intersection.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we decide to follow Jesus, we cross a divine intersection.  Faith carries us through the crossroads.  We don\u2019t need to know everything or understand it to have confidence in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Playing golf, the slower I swing, the better I hit the ball.  The club connects to the ball better when I allow the graphite shaft to do what it does.  In other words, I have faith in my club, even though I don\u2019t completely understand the dynamics of the swing.  The more I let go, the better I play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have to let go and let God.  The moment we stop trying to control the world, the minute we begin enjoying life.  Appreciating the now, instead of dreading the then or regretting the past, allows you to live life fully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God\u2019s got this.  The Lord sits on His throne, waiting for you to come to Him for help.  God does have a plan, even if you don\u2019t understand His actions.  Trust Him, lay your burdens on the cross and take on Jesus’ yoke.  Let Christ lighten the load for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
