{"id":6995,"date":"2022-12-08T03:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-12-08T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shop.honestreflections.net\/?p=6995"},"modified":"2022-09-20T06:13:19","modified_gmt":"2022-09-20T11:13:19","slug":"blameless","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/index.php\/2022\/12\/08\/blameless\/","title":{"rendered":"BLAMELESS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>2 minute read.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/shop.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Blameless.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6996\" width=\"331\" height=\"277\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Blameless.jpg 940w, https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Blameless-300x251.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Blameless-768x644.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 331px) 100vw, 331px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Daily Reading: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Hosea+10%3A1-14%3A9+&amp;version=ESV\">Hosea 10:1-14:9 ESV<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Jude+1%3A1-25+&amp;version=ESV\">Jude 1:1-25 ESV<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Psalm+127%3A1-5+&amp;version=ESV\">Psalm 127:1-5 ESV<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Proverbs+29%3A15-17&amp;version=ESV\">Proverbs 29:15-17 ESV<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Daily Verse:<\/strong> \u201cNow to him who is able&nbsp;to keep you from stumbling and&nbsp;to present you&nbsp;<em>blameless<\/em> before the presence of his glory with great joy,\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Jude+1%3A24&amp;version=ESV\">Jude 1:24 ESV<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>AMOMOS (299): <\/strong>\u201cAs an adjective, means \u201cwithout blame.\u201d Unblemished, unblameable, without spot, faultless, without fault.\u201d<a id=\"_ftnref1\" href=\"#_ftn1\">[1]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Without blame.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a kid, whenever an \u201cincident\u201d happened, mom always wanted to know what I did wrong.&nbsp; A wise woman, she knew getting in trouble takes two, never one person\u2019s fault entirely.&nbsp; And so, she looked for my guilt first when the note came home from school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Life with Jesus frees us from our misdeeds.&nbsp; When the note gets sent home to God, He only sees Christ standing before us, defending our actions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But Jesus does more than forgive our sins; He shows us how to change our ways, so we don\u2019t get any more notes sent home.&nbsp; Following Christ helps us not make the same mistakes twice.&nbsp; When we stumble, Jesus allows us to do it over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Learn the lesson.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When we falter, and we all do, learn the lesson God\u2019s trying to teach you.&nbsp; Instead of blaming someone else for your actions, ask God how He\u2019s trying to grow you in the circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just like when my mom wanted to know my part in whatever misdeed happened, God wants us to acknowledge our sins.&nbsp; By doing so, we can do better the next time around.&nbsp; And God always gives us the next time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As I grow in Christ, He teaches me the most through my relationships.&nbsp; God convicts me of my critical spirit in a myriad of different ways.&nbsp; At a recent church service while out of town, when the solo singer started playing music from her phone to accompany her, I immediately thought, \u201cGreat, this will be painful.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But instead, I listened to one of the most poignant renditions of \u201cWe All Need Jesus\u201d I ever heard.&nbsp; Immediately, God convicted me of my critical spirit and jumping to conclusions, which led to repentance and a contrite heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God considers us blameless when we place our faith in Jesus.&nbsp; Christ helps us walk in the light by correcting us when we head down the wrong path.&nbsp; The closer we walk with Jesus, the sooner we receive the corrections we need and the better we\u2019ll walk in stride with Him, blameless in Christ\u2019s eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><a id=\"_ftn1\" href=\"#_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a> Strong, J., &amp; Strong, J.
