{"id":6802,"date":"2022-11-03T03:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-11-03T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shop.honestreflections.net\/?p=6802"},"modified":"2022-08-26T11:39:43","modified_gmt":"2022-08-26T16:39:43","slug":"practice-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/index.php\/2022\/11\/03\/practice-2\/","title":{"rendered":"PRACTICE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>2 minuter read.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/shop.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Practice-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6803\" width=\"328\" height=\"328\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Practice-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Practice-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Practice-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Practice-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Practice-180x180.jpg 180w, https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Practice.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 328px) 100vw, 328px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Daily Reading:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ezekiel+7%3A1-9%3A11+&amp;version=ESV\">Ezekiel 7:1-9:11 ESV<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Hebrews+5%3A1-14+&amp;version=ESV\">Hebrews 5:1-14 ESV<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Psalm+105%3A1-15+&amp;version=ESV\">Psalm 105:1-15 ESV<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Proverbs+26%3A28+&amp;version=ESV\">Proverbs 26:28 ESV<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Daily Verse:<\/strong> \u201cBut solid food is for&nbsp;the mature, for those who have their powers&nbsp;of discernment trained by constant <em>practice<\/em> to distinguish good from evil.\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Hebrews+5%3A14+&amp;version=ESV\">Hebrews 5:14 ESV<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>GUMNAZO (1128): <\/strong>\u201cPrimarily means to exercise naked (from gumnos, \u201cnaked\u201d); then generally, of exercising the senses, so as to discern good and evil (Heb. 5:14).\u201d<a id=\"_ftnref1\" href=\"#_ftn1\">[1]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Exercise naked!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having the capability to consume mature food means discernment came from exercising naked.&nbsp; What an insane thought to even ponder.&nbsp; Yet, when we practice something so much, it becomes second nature to us.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Training yourself to become naked with God does take time and effort.&nbsp; Having an intimate relationship with God means laying your heart bare for Him to see and others.&nbsp; In our vulnerability, we connect with others in a closer relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As husband and wife for ten years, I see my husband naked all the time, as he does me. &nbsp;&nbsp;No one else on earth sees my body but him and my doctors.&nbsp; Because Ron sees me in my most vulnerable moments, I have a closer relationship with him than anyone except God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Exercise the senses<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Becoming completely vulnerable before God, taking off all the layers, and becoming naked, awakens the senses.&nbsp; Like slipping into a hot bubble bath, with fragrant smells coming from the heated water, everything relaxes as you let your senses take over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Practicing nakedness with God means letting Him see everything, the good, the bad, and the ugly.&nbsp; We all have blemishes we don\u2019t want anyone to see.&nbsp; But with God, you don\u2019t have to worry. &nbsp;The Creator loves every inch of you and wants you to love yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because loving God\u2019s creation means loving what He created, you!&nbsp; And as my mom liked to say, \u201cGod doesn\u2019t make junk!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The more you open yourself up to God, the more discerning you will become.&nbsp; Experiencing the goodness of the Creator will make evil easily distinguished.&nbsp; You don\u2019t have to know all the devil&#8217;s schemes; God exposes them with His light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Become naked with God, and experience His goodness in a way you won\u2019t know unless you do.&nbsp; Nothing in your past will stop the Creator from loving His creation, you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><a id=\"_ftn1\" href=\"#_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a> Strong, J., &amp; Strong, J.
