As we practice the teachings of Christ, we\u2019ll become more and more sure of following Him.&nbsp; However, our faith won\u2019t grow if we don\u2019t try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a coach, building confidence in my players happens over time.&nbsp; The more they practice their tennis strokes and movement, the more confident they become as a player.&nbsp; But without practice, they don\u2019t feel sure of themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The same thing happens when taking a test.&nbsp; If you don\u2019t study, you won\u2019t feel confident when the time comes to take the test.&nbsp; As a person who struggled in college, I know this feeling well.&nbsp; Thirty years later, I still have dreams of taking an exam unprepared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Practiced confidence.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doctors practice medicine because they don\u2019t have all the answers.&nbsp; They make decisions based on the knowledge in front of them.&nbsp; The longer doctors practice, the more confident they become in their choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the same way, we practice following Christ.&nbsp; Each day, we make decisions based on our knowledge.&nbsp; The more we know about Jesus, the better our choices will become.&nbsp; As we grow in Christ, our confidence grows as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But if we don\u2019t practice what Jesus teaches, we won\u2019t become better at following Him.&nbsp; Instead of trusting Jesus, we\u2019ll place our trust in things of this world.&nbsp; When we do, we will find ourselves separated from God and not enjoying the grace and mercy He offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Become more confident in your walk with God one day at a time.&nbsp;
