As proof of ability); fig. to live, deport oneself, follow (as a companion or votary).<a id=\"_ednref1\" href=\"#_edn1\">[i]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Walk at large.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leading comes naturally after spending a lifetime volunteering, working, and attending trainings on the topic.&nbsp; In truth, we all lead people in our lives, whether we think we do or not.&nbsp; Following Jesus makes us leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whatever task God gives us, He wants us to do it well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cWhatever you do, work heartily,&nbsp;as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord&nbsp;you will receive the inheritance as your reward.&nbsp;You are serving the Lord Christ.\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Colossians%203%3A23-24&amp;version=ESV\">Colossians 3:24-24 ESV<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Finish well.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lifecommunitychurch.cc\/blog\/\">Pastor Mike Cooke<\/a><a id=\"_ednref1\" href=\"#_edn1\">[i]<\/a>, friend, and mentor, taught me to pray, \u201cLord, help me finish well.\u201d&nbsp; He often spoke about finishing well during the transition from one church to another.&nbsp; Not wanting to leave work undone, Mike completed his pastoral duties well by having the hard conversations and doing the complicated steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When faced with a challenging task, I pray, \u201cLord, help me finish well.\u201d\u00a0 When working on my degree or finishing my book, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Three-Word-Prayers-Everyday-Living-ebook\/dp\/B09JT3B6CW\">Three Word Prayers<\/a>,\u201d God often heard the prayer.\u00a0 Currently, the words come from my lips as I work to finish my next book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People watch you when you work.&nbsp; When others learn you follow Jesus, they want to see how you handle life\u2019s situations.&nbsp; Non-believers chat about judgemental Christ-followers, but they judge, too, without Jesus\u2019s grace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whatever task God gives you today, do it with all your heart.&nbsp; Remember, people watch you learning more about Jesus.&nbsp; Lead them by finishing your job well and glorifying Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#_ednref1\" id=\"_edn1\">[i]<\/a> Strong, J., &amp; Strong, J.
