True things conforming to reality. Related to alethes as from to contents or substances; alethes denotes the reality of the thing, alethinos defines the relation of the conception to the thing to which it corresponds=genuine.\u201d[i]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Denotes reality.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Jesus, speaking to the people at the Feast of Booths, explains the difference between man\u2019s truth and God\u2019s. Men glorifying God seek His truth, not theirs. Joining God in His work will help you discover His truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Loving God and others fulfills God\u2019s purpose for our lives. Through the scriptures, we find guidelines on how to accomplish our mission. Ultimately, Jesus asks us to put others before ourselves, just as He did for us. We will discover God\u2019s truth in our obedience, exposing the lies we so easily believe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Seek God.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhen asked about their religious identity, 29 percent of respondents, or about 3 in 10 U.S. adults, said they had \u201cnone,\u201d meaning they were atheists, agnostics, or \u201cnothing in particular,\u201d according to the Pew Research Center survey<\/a>.\u201d[i]<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Thirty percent of our country doesn\u2019t believe in God\u2019s existence. Jesus means nothing to them. Without Christ, we can\u2019t know the truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cFor this purpose I was born and for this purpose, I have come into the world\u2014to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.\u201d (John 18:37 ESV<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n To find the truth, we must follow Jesus. As we apply His principles to our lives, He exposes the lies we believe. Listening to Jesus\u2019s voice sets us free from the trappings of this world.
