Telling her not to weep, Christ showed compassion, raising the widow\u2019s only child from the dead in front of the crowd. Fear seized the people witnessing the supernatural power of Jesus. Tongues wagged and news spread quickly of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a recent sermon, the pastor addressed why God sometimes protects and not others.&nbsp; Why did Jesus choose to raise the widow\u2019s son from the dead and not someone else\u2019s?&nbsp; As the pastor said, \u201cGod\u2019s God, we\u2019re not.&nbsp; Some questions don\u2019t have an answer.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Trust overrides answers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Walking with Jesus requires trust, not answers.&nbsp; When Christ engages in conversations, time after time, He responds to the question with a question.&nbsp; Jesus does possess the answers to our questions, but we don\u2019t need them to follow Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>\u201cFor my thoughts&nbsp;are not your thoughts,&nbsp;neither are your ways my ways, \u201cdeclares the&nbsp;Lord. &nbsp;\u201cAs the heavens are higher than the earth,&nbsp;so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Isaiah+55%3A8-9&amp;version=ESV\">Isaiah 55:8-9 ESV<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God never intended for us to have all the answers on this side of heaven.&nbsp; One day, when we cross into the eternal world beyond, we\u2019ll find out the mysteries of this world; until then, we trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When God says, He will never leave us or forsake us, no matter the circumstances, we believe Him. &nbsp;Receiving the gift of grace and mercy Christ offers costs us nothing compared to the price God paid.&nbsp; Remembering God\u2019s unconditional love for us, sacrificing His Son, creating a way for us to let go of this world and grasp God\u2019s, helps us wait well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amid our wailing, we can cling to Jesus when pain surrounds our soul.&nbsp; Answers won\u2019t comfort us, but God will.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><a id=\"_edn1\" href=\"#_ednref1\">[i]<\/a> Strong, J., &amp; Strong, J.
