Love where you live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nehemiah\u2019s completion of the wall around Jerusalem meant people could come back and live in the city.  Casting lots is a way to discern God\u2019s will.  Some people moved back; others didn\u2019t.  God is intentional about where He places us.  Part of our purpose is because of our location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In eighth grade, my history teacher was Mr. Stamler.  One assignment impacted my life more than any other during my public school years.  We traced our family history.  My family came from Ireland, through Staten Island<\/a>, and settled in Pennsylvania.  I will never forget my teacher\u2019s words when he reviewed my submission. 

\u201cYou never know where life will take you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Stamler is right.  God places us in families and locations so we can fulfill our life mission.  Wherever you are is part of your purpose.  Who God surrounds you with are the people He wants you to love for Him.  Whether in the city or country, we all have friends and family who need God\u2019s love.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plant seeds of love.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your garden is your neighborhood\u2014acts of kindness breed love.  Taking care of your neighbor\u2019s pet, bringing in the mail, keeping a watchful eye when they are away are opportunities to serve your neighbors.  Making a meal for someone who is in one of life\u2019s valleys shares God\u2019s love.  One way I plant seeds of love is through prayer, walking through my neighborhood, praying for those who live around me.  Wherever you are, God wants you to share His love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Begin praying today for your neighborhood.  Ask God to illuminate ways you can plant seeds of love in your world.  No one else can do what you can do.  God placed you where you are for a purpose.  Spreading God\u2019s love to the world around is a universal commandment.  No matter who they are, God loves them.  We\u2019re to love them as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love where you live.\u00a0 Share God\u2019s love with your neighbors.\u00a0 Watch as your garden begins to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
