For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.\u201d (<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Romans%207%3A15&amp;version=NIV\"><em>Romans 7:15 NIV<\/em><\/a><em>)&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like a horse to water, some things are inevitable.\u00a0 Battling our sinful nature is one of them.\u00a0 Struggling against the temptations of life is never-ending.\u00a0 Lately, God is working on my language.\u00a0 Recently, my opportunities to say the wrong thing seem constant.\u00a0 Watching the words that come out of my mouth requires effort.\u00a0 Sometimes, I put my hand over my mouth to keep myself from rising to the bait.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes I fail miserably, damaging relationships.&nbsp; When those times happen, I trust God\u2019s mercy, not only for myself but the situation.&nbsp; My faith gives me hope God will repair the damage and restore the connection because of His love and compassion.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>God\u2019s power, not ours.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trusting God\u2019s mercy means relying on His power.&nbsp; When we require grace, we can\u2019t provide it for ourselves.&nbsp; We must trust God will provide the compassion we need.&nbsp; What we\u2019re unable to do for ourselves, God does for us.&nbsp; And that should bring you relief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God rights our wrongs.&nbsp; He fixes our messes.&nbsp; Align your heart with His.&nbsp; Check the motives of your actions.&nbsp; God looks at our reasons, not our blunders.&nbsp; If we\u2019re doing something with the right intentions, God honors our efforts.&nbsp; Because He knows us intimately, God knows what we truly need: His love and mercy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Believe today in God\u2019s mercy for yourself.\u00a0 Forgive yourself, knowing God already has.\u00a0 Feel joy at the freedom which comes from God\u2019s unconditional love.\u00a0 Nothing you do can separate you from God\u2019s love.\u00a0 Breath a sigh of relief today.\u00a0 Rest in God\u2019s love and mercy, knowing they never end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/shop.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/bookcover.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4819\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/bookcover.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/bookcover-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/bookcover-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><figcaption> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Three-Word-Prayers-Everyday-Living-ebook\/dp\/B09JT3B6CW\/ref=sr_1_2?crid=18UKNZFIIDIEA&amp;dchild=1&amp;keywords=three+word+prayers&amp;qid=1635775169&amp;sprefix=three+word+prayers%2Caps%2C69&amp;sr=8-2\">Check out my new release on Amazon<\/a>.
