I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.&#8221;\u00a0 Psalm 46:10<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nI just realized I actually have time to blog.\u00a0 It&#8217;s been two weeks since I&#8217;ve had time to sit and write.\u00a0 I know that because it was my birthday the last time I was here.<br \/>\nWhich now means I&#8217;m 49 years and 18 days old.\u00a0 In the past two weeks I have had this moment happen.\u00a0 I&#8217;m full of energy, life is thriving and I feel like I&#8217;m 20 years old.\u00a0 Then I look in the mirror and see that I am actually closer to 50.\u00a0 Not the most uplifting of moments.<br \/>\nIn these past 18 days I have started a study on Job.\u00a0 Actually, I&#8217;m currently reading three different books on Job.\u00a0 From three very different perspectives.\u00a0 It is amazing what God is teaching me.\u00a0 I&#8217;m currently ruminating on suffering not being punishment, but being a promotion.<br \/>\nMy pastor has preached some amazing messages on being a Warrior.\u00a0 None spoke to me more than this past Sunday&#8217;s when he talked about facing your giants.\u00a0 At just shy of 50, yes I&#8217;m obviously struggling with my age, I have heard numerous messages on David and Goliath.\u00a0 \u00a0I&#8217;ve heard my pastor speak on David and Goliath in the past.\u00a0 One of the many things I love about him is how he always brings a fresh perspective.\u00a0 It has to be God&#8217;s hand upon him, there is no other way he could do it like he does if it wasn&#8217;t.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m going to share the three main points, because they are that good:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Just because the giant is loud doesn&#8217;t mean you have to listen<\/li>\n<li>You are not the underdog<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s not the end of the story<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Totally worth your time listening too, which you can do here:<br \/>\nhttps:\/\/subsplash.com\/watersedge\/media\/ms\/+t5xwyvt<br \/>\nI could go into any of these three topics.\u00a0 Prayerfully over the next weeks I will.\u00a0 Right now though, all I want to do is Be Still and know He is God.<br \/>\nDays like today for me, are the easiest to connect to God.\u00a0 When I feel the warmth of His sunshine on my face.\u00a0 When I feel the slight breeze He created.\u00a0 When a special song comes on the radio, the windows are down and you feel like you don&#8217;t have a care in the world.\u00a0 Joy just permeates from every pore.\u00a0 You can feel His love enfolding you in the warmth of the sun.\u00a0 There is no doubt of His love for you.\u00a0 There is no doubt whatever His plan for you is, it&#8217;s the best one.<br \/>\nThere&#8217;s just knowing.<br \/>\nKnowing He is God and I am not.\u00a0 It is perfectly ok for it to be that way.\u00a0 It&#8217;s the way it&#8217;s supposed to be.\u00a0 It is perfectly ok to be still and know He is God.\u00a0 It&#8217;s perfectly ok for me not to be God.\u00a0 He never intended us to be equals.\u00a0 He intended us to love one another.\u00a0 He intended us to Love Him and love others.\u00a0 That&#8217;s it.<br \/>\nGod doesn&#8217;t need me to run the world He&#8217;s got it.\u00a0 Turns out, He doesn&#8217;t need you to run it either.\u00a0 Come, be still with me.\u00a0 Just enjoy His presence on this beautiful day.\u00a0 Even if for five minutes, it&#8217;s worth it!<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;He says, &#8220;Be still, and know that I am God;
