However, you will receive an answer.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over my lifetime, I\u2019ve heard many sermons on God\u2019s answers, which fall into three categories: yes, no, and wait.&nbsp; Never have I listened to a message where God gives me everything I desire.&nbsp; As you grow closer to Christ, your desires become what Christ\u2019s desires, what you ask for changes as you become more mature in your faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When I first started following Jesus, I was 12 years old.\u00a0 My prayer requests sounded something like this, \u201cLord, please let my parents say yes to me staying at Lori\u2019s house.\u201d\u00a0 But now, forty years later, my morning prayer is this, \u201cLord, let me produce good fruit today.\u201d\u00a0 My prayers changed as I developed my relationship with God.\u00a0 His desires become mine the more I align my heart with God\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Keep becoming new.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every day as we walk with God, we become a new person.&nbsp; Old ways slip away as we begin to understand God\u2019s heart.&nbsp; God\u2019s love is for everyone.&nbsp; Jesus died for the world; no one is left out.&nbsp; When we ask God to help us see the people around us through His eyes, our vision will change.&nbsp; Our hearts will soften in unexpected ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you grow closer to God, watch as your prayer life changes.&nbsp; Your conversations with God will become more intimate as you trust Him more.&nbsp; When you ask for your heart\u2019s desire, you\u2019ll find it\u2019s whatever God\u2019s heart desire is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/shop.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/bookcover.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4819\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/bookcover.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/bookcover-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/bookcover-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><figcaption> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Three-Word-Prayers-Everyday-Living-ebook\/dp\/B09JT3B6CW\/ref=sr_1_2?crid=18UKNZFIIDIEA&amp;dchild=1&amp;keywords=three+word+prayers&amp;qid=1635775169&amp;sprefix=three+word+prayers%2Caps%2C69&amp;sr=8-2\">Check out my new release on Amazon<\/a>.
