God granted Elisha\u2019s request.&nbsp; Elijah performed eight miracles in the Old Testament, Elisha sixteen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In today\u2019s scripture, the disciples of Elisha were gathering logs to build places to live.&nbsp; The prophet borrowed the ax head.&nbsp; Unlike today, people couldn\u2019t go to hardware stores and buy equipment.&nbsp; Ax heads required much time and effort to make.&nbsp; Losing one meant you had to do without an essential tool to complete your task.&nbsp; Felling trees is hard to do without an ax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What seems small to us today, was in fact, a big deal to these prophets.&nbsp; How were they to complete their homes if they didn\u2019t have the right equipment?&nbsp; Thank God for Elisha\u2019s faithfulness and perseverance.&nbsp; Because of his intimate relationship with God, Elisha knew exactly what to do.&nbsp; Throwing a stick into the water, he caused the ax head to float, saving the day.&nbsp; Can you imagine how much more his fellow prophets believed after watching this divine solution?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>God cares about the details.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God knows we need the right equipment to fulfill our purposes on earth.&nbsp; Whatever our task is before us, God provides the tools we need to do it.&nbsp; And when we need divine help, God is only a prayer away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of Jesus, we have a direct line to God.\u00a0 Whatever the need, we can go directly to the source for help.\u00a0 Asking God for assistance will result in an answer.\u00a0 Most of the time, God\u2019s solutions are not at all what we thought.\u00a0 But inevitably, when God floats an ax head for us, we believe even more in the power of our Creator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/shop.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/bookcover.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4819\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/bookcover.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/bookcover-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/bookcover-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><figcaption> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Three-Word-Prayers-Everyday-Living-ebook\/dp\/B09JT3B6CW\/ref=sr_1_2?crid=18UKNZFIIDIEA&amp;dchild=1&amp;keywords=three+word+prayers&amp;qid=1635775169&amp;sprefix=three+word+prayers%2Caps%2C69&amp;sr=8-2\">Check out my new release on Amazon<\/a>.
