Love always wins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being a slave to others for Christ means loving them as He did.  My husband makes this point often:  \u201cIf we truly loved others like Jesus, noone would say no to being loved.\u201d  The problem is, we don\u2019t love like Jesus; we do it the way we want to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rick Warren<\/a> said it best in his NY Times best-selling book, Purpose Driven Life, What on Earth Am I Here For<\/a>, \u201cLife\u2019s not about you.\u201d  We weren\u2019t placed on earth to serve ourselves; God wants us to serve others.  The universe doesn\u2019t revolve around us, no matter how much we think it does.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our number one purpose on earth, as Christ-followers, is to love God, love others (Mark 12:30-31 NIV<\/a>).  If you want to find meaning in your life, start doing what God commands.  Each day, seek God, some way, somehow.  Build a relationship with Him using scripture to guide you.  Then take what God gives you during the time you spend with Him and use it to serve those around you with love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God gives so we can give.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

God calls us to serve others.  But as we all know, some people are more complex than others to love.  And as much as I love my husband, some days require more work than others to keep our relationship in good standing.  No matter how much you love them, to truly love them like Jesus, you need His help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you spend time with God, receiving His love, you can\u2019t help but want to share it.\u00a0 Accepting God\u2019s grace for your sins enables you to extend it to others.\u00a0 Jesus tells us, the more you’re forgiven, the more you forgive.\u00a0 God has forgiven us all of much.\u00a0 We can do the same for others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Become a slave to others, win people to Christ with love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear Heavenly Father, how we love You!  In our brokenness, You gave us Jesus.  Before we loved You, You loved us.  Forgive us for thinking the world revolved around us; we\u2019re all guilty of it at some point.  Thank You for the reminder; the world revolves because of You.  Help us today become a slave to others.  Help us see those around us through Your eyes, not ours.  IJNIP. Amen<\/p>\n\n\n\n
