Look up, find God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All you have to do to find God\u2019s help is seek Him.\u00a0 God is waiting to help you with whatever storm you\u2019re in today.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our problem isn\u2019t God; it\u2019s us.\u00a0 We don\u2019t seek God amid the struggle.\u00a0 Life engulfs and overwhelms us.\u00a0 What seemed simple at the start becomes complex and challenging.\u00a0 Before you know what is happening, you find yourself on a completely different path from which you started.\u00a0 The best thing about being at rock bottom, it forces you to lookup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. <\/em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>He will not let you fall.<\/em> Your guardian will not fall asleep.\u201d (<\/em>Psalm 121:2-3 GW<\/em><\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

God has an answer to your struggle.  Acknowledge Him, ask God for help.  Wait for Him to move in your situation.  When He does, you will have no doubt it was God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blue skies are behind the clouds.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each week, during our weekly prayer zoom, we discuss different aspects of prayer.  A couple of weeks ago, during a discussion of suffering, a friend made this statement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSuffering isn\u2019t the absence of peace.\u201d  Jennifer Johnson<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jen was reading in Philippians, thinking about Paul.  While suffering, He still had peace.  Paul suffered like most of us never will.  A good portion of the letters he wrote in the New Testament he did while in prison, chained to a guard.  Yet He still had peace.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blue skies exist even though storm clouds cover them.  Thunderheads come and go, but the blue sky is always present.  The same is true of God.  His peace is always available to You, no matter what the circumstances.  All you have to do is look for God, and you will find Him.  He is always present.  We\u2019re the ones who don\u2019t seek Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Look up today.  Ask God for His help. Wait expectantly for His answer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lord, thank You for always being present with us.  Forgive us for not seeking You amid the storm.  Forgive us for trying to navigate life without You.  As we look for You today, let us find You.  Help us during our storms.  Remind us, You are always present, even in the midst of our struggles.  IJNIP. Amen<\/p>\n\n\n\n
