{"id":3669,"date":"2021-04-24T03:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-04-24T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shop.honestreflections.net\/?p=3669"},"modified":"2021-04-09T07:05:51","modified_gmt":"2021-04-09T12:05:51","slug":"investigating-things-you-shouldnt-will-make-you-regret-your-actions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/index.php\/2021\/04\/24\/investigating-things-you-shouldnt-will-make-you-regret-your-actions\/","title":{"rendered":"Investigating Things You Shouldn&#8217;t Will Make You Regret Your Actions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>2 minute read. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/shop.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/4.24.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3670\" width=\"331\" height=\"264\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/4.24.jpg 695w, https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/4.24-300x239.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 331px) 100vw, 331px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Daily Reading: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Joshua%2015&amp;version=GW\">Joshua 15 GW<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Proverbs%2025&amp;version=GW\">Proverbs 25 GW<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not everything is your business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For some reason, we think we need to know everything.&nbsp; But the truth is, we can\u2019t possibly know everything, nor should we.&nbsp; God is the only one who is privy to all the details.&nbsp; And He hides what He knows.&nbsp; God separates our sin from us:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cas far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.\u201d (<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Psalm%20103%3A12&amp;version=NIV\"><em>Psalm 103:12 NIV<\/em><\/a><em>)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Man, on the other hand, likes to investigate and expose people\u2019s sins.&nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/webstersdictionary1828.com\/Dictionary\/grace\">Grace<\/a> is <em>favor, mercy, pardon.<\/em>&nbsp; God hides what people want to illuminate.&nbsp; Yet, as human beings, we want to know all the dirty laundry.&nbsp; Typically, when we find out a person\u2019s secrets, we spread them as quickly as possible. &nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/hozier.com\/\">Hozier<\/a>\u2019s song, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Td2bsJIaC5M\">Take Me to Church<\/a>,\u201d aptly describes what people do with juicy information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019ll tell you my sins, and you can sharpen your knife.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My deepest hurts came from people I met in church.&nbsp; Thankfully, God doesn\u2019t act like people do.&nbsp; In Him, we can find a love that heals our wounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Become comfortable not knowing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One way to become more like Jesus, don\u2019t tell everything you know.&nbsp; Practice not wanting to know everything. Help us remember to take the plank out of our eye before messing with the splinter in someone else\u2019s.&nbsp; IJNIP.
