God\u2019s wisdom brings understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insight from the Creator brings \u201cah-ha!\u201d moments.  Wisdom<\/a> is the \u201cability to discern inner qualities and relationships, good sense.\u201d  <\/em>Valuing wisdom makes it a close friend.  God is the source of all knowledge.  To gain wisdom, we must go to the origin.  Tapping into God\u2019s bird\u2019s eye view of the world gives us wisdom and leads to understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week, I chugged a cup of coffee before heading into my hot yoga class.  Long story short, hot yoga and coffee don\u2019t go well together.  When the two combined, I had to leave class early feeling sick.  And the coffee came back up in the parking lot\u2014a truly embarrassing moment for me.  No one saw me, no one knew, yet mortification gripped me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the next class, I was still holding onto the embarrassing moment.  Laying on my mat, I began praying, asking God to release the incident from my mind.  Suddenly, this thought run through my mind, \u201cThe only one still thinking about last week is you.\u201d  My \u201cah-ha\u201d moment came when I sought God.  His wisdom gave me understanding, which helped me let go of the embarrassment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relational wisdom requires God.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

God helped me in my relationship with myself.  His small whisper revealed the truth I needed to hear; God brought resolution to my internal struggle.  We can\u2019t find that type of peace anywhere else.  God speaks to our souls, helping us understand ourselves more.  Once we know who we are in Christ, life takes on more profound meaning.  Every interaction we have has eternal consequences.  Each person you meet matters to God.  To love others like Jesus, we must friend Him.  When we do, we\u2019ll gain wisdom and understanding as relatives too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Draw close to God.   Make wisdom your sister; understanding your relative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lord, how grateful we are for Your wisdom and understanding.  Forgive us for relying on our knowledge instead of Yours.   Help us today to draw close to You as we seek You.  Whatever the situation, remind us we are in Your family; no one can take that away from us.  Let wisdom become our sister, understanding our relative as we follow You.  Your ways are better than ours.  In all things, the glory is Yours. IJNIP. Amen<\/p>\n\n\n\n
