Learning how to navigate healthy relationships takes time and effort.&nbsp; Following Jesus helps in the quest for unity with others.&nbsp; God\u2019s recipe for living peacefully with others includes these ingredients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Pray for one another (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=James%205%3A16&amp;version=GW\">James 5:16 GW<\/a>)<\/li><li>Love one another as I have loved you (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=John+15%3A12&amp;version=GW\">John 15:12 GW<\/a>)<\/li><li>Serve one another in love (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Galatians+5%3A13&amp;version=GW\">Galatians 5:13 GW<\/a>)<\/li><li>Esteem others higher than yourself (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Philippians+2%3A3&amp;version=GW\">Phil. 2:3 GW<\/a>)<\/li><li>Husbands love your wife like Christ loved the church (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians+5%3A25&amp;version=GW\">Ephesians 5:25 GW<\/a>)<\/li><li>Wives respect your husband (quickly done if he loves you like Christ) (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians%205%3A33&amp;version=NIV\">Ephesians 5:33<\/a>)<\/li><li>Do unto others as you would have them do unto you (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew%207%3A12&amp;version=GW\">Matthew 7:12 GW<\/a>)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All of these ingredients have one thing in common, others before self.&nbsp; In each of these instances, God asks us to stop thinking about ourselves; instead, think of those around us.&nbsp; Following Christ helps us find the proper focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Look at Jesus<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Living a pleasant life has nothing to do with creature comforts. &nbsp; Co-habitating peacefully with the people in your life brings joy.&nbsp; We interact with people all day long.&nbsp; From sun-up to sun-down, our relationships with family, friends, and co-workers impact our day.&nbsp; If a relationship is in turmoil, life isn\u2019t pleasant.&nbsp; Where we place our focus is critical:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cIf you look at the world, you\u2019ll be distressed.&nbsp; If you look within, you\u2019ll be depressed.&nbsp; But if you look at Christ, you\u2019ll be at rest.<\/em>\u201d&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/pastorrick.com\/\">Rick Warren<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus brings rest to our weary souls.&nbsp;
