“Even though I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger.\u00a0 For you are with me; your and your staff-they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4 (CSB)<\/em><\/strong>
\nI just enjoyed a most uplifting stroll through the scriptures learning how faith overcomes fear.\u00a0 It comes at the most apt time as\u00a0 I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with life this morning when I sat down to my quiet time with God.
\nLife has a way of sneaking up on you while you’re making plans.\u00a0 It is like having your back turned to a wave in the ocean, it knocks you down because you didn’t see it coming.\u00a0 When we’re knocked down is when we are in the perfect position to receive His strength.
\nMy source of strength is best accessed when I’m on my knees.\u00a0 Knee-mail so to speak.\u00a0 From my lips to God’s ears, He lifts me up and always places me back on my feet again.
\nI love what Isaiah 41:10 says:
\n“So do not fear,\u00a0for I am with you;<\/span><\/em><\/strong>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>do not be dismayed, for I am your God.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong>
\nI will strengthen\u00a0you and help\u00a0you;<\/span><\/em><\/strong>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>I will uphold you\u00a0with my righteous right hand.”<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong>
\nNo matter what you are facing today, God is holding your hand, tightly.\u00a0 He is lifting you up.\u00a0 He is helping you to stand.
\nThere are over three hundred scriptures telling us to not be afraid.\u00a0 The way to over come fear is with faith.\u00a0 Beth Moore says in The Quest,\u00a0 “Fear and faith cannot be roommates.\u00a0 They will not coexist.\u00a0 The one assigned authority automatically elbows the other off the space.\u00a0 Fear can’t stand on a carpet of faith.”<\/em>
\nIf you want to overcome fear, replace it with faith.
\nHow do you replace it with faith?\u00a0 Apply God’s word to it.\u00a0 Apply scriptures like these:
\n“For I am the\u00a0Lord<\/span>\u00a0your God\u00a0<\/span>who takes hold of your right hand\u00a0<\/span><\/span>and says to you, Do not fear;\u00a0<\/span>I will help\u00a0you.”\u00a0 Isaiah 41:13<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cDo not fear, for I have redeemed\u00a0you;\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>I have summoned you by name;\u00a0you are mine.”\u00a0 Isaiah 43:1<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid;\u00a0do not be discouraged,\u00a0for the\u00a0Lord<\/span>\u00a0your God will be with you wherever you go.\u201d Joshua 1:9<\/em><\/strong>
\n“Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one.” Isaiah 44:8<\/strong><\/em>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Remember what these verses are telling you.\u00a0 God is with you always.\u00a0 He is holding your hand.\u00a0 He is helping you.\u00a0 He knows your name and you are His.\u00a0 He is your Rock!
\nEvict fear from your life.\u00a0 Give the space to Faith.\u00a0 Whatever it is, God’s got this…always!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
