Jude, brother of James, in his brief letter, gives Christ-followers three keys to living a life of faith:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Obey God, leave consequences to Him (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Jude%204-11&amp;version=NIV\">Jude1:4-11 NIV<\/a>)<\/li><li>Eagerly anticipating Christ\u2019s return motivates obedience (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Jude+1:14-15\">Jude 1: 14-15 NIV<\/a>)<\/li><li>Our power comes from prayer (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Jude%2024-25&amp;version=NIV\">Jude 1:24-25 NIV<\/a>)<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Conditioning takes daily discipline and work.&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rocky_Balboa_(film)\">Rocky Balboa<\/a>\u2019s training montage in <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/TuTOzEYtgzQ\">this video<\/a> is an example of the effort required to prepare for battle.&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000230\/\">Sylvester Stallone<\/a> runs, throws barrels, lifts heavy chains, does crazy push-ups with a ball, day after day preparing for the big fight.&nbsp; Finally, the moment arrives when he faces his opponent in the boxing ring.&nbsp; Eventually, Rocky emerges as champion, preparation his key to victory.&nbsp; He conditioned to contend for the prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Keep your eye on the prize.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jude lays out the training plan for each of us.&nbsp; If we\u2019re to contend for our faith, we have to practice the life principles he gives us.
