With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord\u2019s people.\u201d (Ephesians 6:18 NIV)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prayer is your most potent weapon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reaching out to the Creator in conversation is more potent than any human-made tool.\u00a0 If we connected with God as much as we connect with our cell phones, can you imagine the impact on this world?\u00a0 What if, every time you picked up your phone, you used it as a reminder to pray?\u00a0 Whoever you\u2019re connecting with through the cell, pray for them.\u00a0 Our phones are an extension of who we are today.\u00a0 If we use them as a reminder to pray, God becomes part of us as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Prayer pinpoints the battle.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When we take time to pray first, God centers our minds.&nbsp; Prayer reminds us our battle is not against flesh and blood, but the spiritual forces of evil (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians+6%3A12&amp;version=NIV\">Ephesians 6:12 NIV<\/a>). Our eyes look past what we can see for what is unseen.&nbsp; Instead of letting anger wedge itself into our relationships, we respond with grace.&nbsp; We build instead of destroy when we use prayer as our weapon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God\u2019s armor clothes us as we look to Him for strength:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cTherefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground&#8230;Stand firm&#8230;with the belt of truth&#8230;the breastplate of righteousness&#8230;the gospel of peace&#8230;take up the shield of faith&#8230;the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.\u201d<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians%206:13-17&amp;version=NIV\">Ephesians 6:13-17 NIV<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wars fought with physical weapons have no winners.&nbsp; Each side loses brave warriors as they battle to \u201cvictory.\u201d&nbsp; Wars end because resources to fight run out, not because they give up.
