{"id":2330,"date":"2020-07-21T03:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-07-21T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shop.honestreflections.net\/?p=2330"},"modified":"2020-07-09T06:05:00","modified_gmt":"2020-07-09T11:05:00","slug":"keep-your-feet-on-the-right-path","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/index.php\/2020\/07\/21\/keep-your-feet-on-the-right-path\/","title":{"rendered":"KEEP YOUR FEET ON THE RIGHT PATH"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>\u201cMy steps have held to your paths;&nbsp; my feet have not stumbled.\u201d (Psalm 17:5 NIV)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applying God\u2019s word to our lives illuminates the path He wants us to follow.&nbsp; We all have different paths.&nbsp; Our purposes vary in life, but God doesn\u2019t.&nbsp; His word is unfailing and true.&nbsp; The path is narrow, but the rewards endless:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cEnter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. <\/em><strong><em>&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><em>But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew+7%3A13-14&amp;version=NIV\"><em>Matthew 7:13-14 NIV<\/em><\/a><em>)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>The right path leads to life.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a world full of choices, God simplifies the options.&nbsp; Jesus gave us a Great Commandment: Love God, love others (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Mark+12%3A30-31&amp;version=NIV\">Mark 12:30-31 NIV<\/a>).&nbsp; He also gave us the Great Commission:&nbsp; Go and make disciples (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew+28%3A19-20&amp;version=NIV\">Matthew 28: 19-20 NIV<\/a>).&nbsp; Whatever situation we are faced with, we can narrow our options by following Jesus&#8217; words.&nbsp; We choose to love people, or not.&nbsp; We choose to share Jesus with others or not.&nbsp; Every day, in every situation, we have the opportunity to choose how we respond.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes we falter.&nbsp; Sometimes we veer off the path. We don\u2019t respond in love.&nbsp; We choose not to share Jesus.&nbsp; We miss our opportunity to let God\u2019s light brighten someone else\u2019s day.
