\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>and he will establish your plans.”\u00a0 Proverbs 16:3<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/em>
\nI’ve prayed over it all week.\u00a0 It’s time to establish my goals for 2018.\u00a0 I know the verse, I’ve got the word, now it’s time to add the goals.
\nIt actually is so hard to choose.\u00a0 Mainly because I still need a lot of work.\u00a0 It’s useless to try and fix everything at once.\u00a0 It will only lead to defeat, and inevitably failure.\u00a0 Failure in itself is not bad, in fact it’s necessary to learn and grow.\u00a0 The important part to failure is picking yourself back up, brushing yourself off and getting back on the road.
\nAs I’ve prayed over these goals, I’ve tried to make them realistic.\u00a0 Something I can and actually will do.\u00a0 One of the passions God has re-awakened in me in 2017 is writing, hence the blog.\u00a0 He’s brought writer’s into my life who have inspired and encouraged me.\u00a0 I’m adding a fourth goal this year, one for writing.\u00a0 What I learned in 2017 is the most important thing about writing is you must do it.\u00a0 It’s not about being a best selling author, it’s about developing the gifts God has given you.
\nIf you’re unsure of what your gifts are, ask yourself, what do you love?\u00a0 Answering this question can point you in the right direction.
\nMy goals for 2018:<\/strong>
\nSpiritual<\/strong>:\u00a0 Praying over my calendar on Monday mornings.\u00a0 Finding and completing a domestic mission trip.
\nPhysical:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Continue my two classes a week minimum.\u00a0 Increase cardio workouts to 5-6 times a week.\u00a0 (Cardio meaning walking, biking, zumba etc.)
\nFinancial:\u00a0<\/strong>Come in on budget personally each month.
\nWriting:<\/strong>\u00a0 Write a blog weekly.
\nThat’s it.\u00a0 That is what I’m going to work towards in 2018.\u00a0 God help me, it’s the only way I can do it.\u00a0 His first prompting is for me to create reminders and add it to my calendar so I don’t forget what I’m working towards.
