<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working on a project with my honey, we installed an above-ground pool. A basic liner with poles to support it, we purchased it from Amazon. As we worked to put the poles through the pockets in the liner, I couldn\u2019t lift it on my own. But as soon as Ron helped, the load became bearable, and we completed the task. We needed each other to complete the job, neither of us able to do it alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In life, we carry burdens the Lord never intended us to carry alone. God designed us to need Him, just like I needed Ron to help me lift the pole. The pool instructions stated up front, \u201cYou will need two people.\u201d And the Creator tells us that we need Him to navigate this life and help us carry the burdens we will face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus speaks to exhausted people. To those suffering physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion, the Lord speaks to anyone carrying a load that feels too heavy. Mothers nursing sick children in the dark of the night. Spouses caring for each other through long-term illnesses. Friends supporting each other through life’s valleys. The Savior\u2019s words provide comfort for the weary and those who don\u2019t know how they will find the strength to continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three words that will give you rest. Christ doesn\u2019t say \u201cFix it yourself first,\u201d \u201cWork harder,\u201d or \u201cFigure it out on your own.\u201d He invites weary people into His presence. The rest Jesus offers gives us a deep peace that comes from trusting Him with our burdens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jesus promises rest. He offers relief from constant striving, worrying, and self-reliance that can drain our souls. While the Lord may not remove every difficulty, He promises His presence, strength, and peace in the midst of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christ welcomes those who struggle; our weariness doesn\u2019t intimidate Him. True rest comes from a relationship with the Savior, not merely changed circumstances. God never meant for us to carry life\u2019s burdens alone; His grace provides what our strength cannot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
