The thick cloud cover makes the horizon invisible, creating an unsettling feeling because you can\u2019t clearly see what lies ahead. We want to know what lies ahead, and when we don\u2019t, fear can quickly overtake us, clouding our perspective and making challenges seem larger than life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Paul, writing to his prot\u00e9g\u00e9, Timothy, during a difficult season, reminds him that fear does not come from God. Fear tries to convince us of our weaknesses, magnifying obstacles and minimizing the Lord\u2019s presence. But the Creator equips us with something far greater than fear: power to persevere, love to serve others, and a sound mind to make wise decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When anxiety settles over you like fog at the beach, pause and remember who you serve. God gives us the tools to overcome our fears through His Spirit, which provides the strength, peace, and clarity we need for each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the fog lifts with the rising sun, so do our fears when we walk with the Lord. His risen Son overcame the troubles of this world, walking out of the tomb, defeating death, and giving us victory in Him. Jesus\u2019s Spirit gives us power, love and a sound mind to deal with the uncertainties that lie before us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When fear whispers, \u201cYou can\u2019t,\u201d God says, \u201cYou can.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the waves wash away the footprints of yesterday, let God\u2019s Spirit wash away fear and doubt, replacing them with His peace that settles into your heart like a calm tide. Remind yourself, the Lord gives you power, fills you with love, and grants you a sound mind.
