Upon arriving at our destination, we saw people heading in two different directions. One path looked wider and more traversed; the other looked narrower and less traveled. Some people followed the crowd, while others, including us, hesitated, unsure which way to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We finally took the smaller path, which led to a beautiful, secluded, less crowded beach, filled with peace and a spectacular view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every day, we choose which path we will follow. Joshua, challenging the Israelites, made his decision clear about whom he would follow. After witnessing God\u2019s faithfulness throughout history, the people could no longer remain undecided. Joshua boldly declared that regardless of what others chose, he and his family would serve the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Faith requires commitment. We cannot allow culture, circumstances, or others&#8217; opinions to determine our devotion to the Lord. Each day, we must choose who we will serve. Choosing the Savior means trusting and obeying Him, even when we don\u2019t understand. Placing God at the center of our lives requires intention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joshua, a godly leader, sets a powerful example of leadership within the home. Each person must choose faith for themselves, but godly leadership creates an environment where people value God\u2019s presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you come to a fork in the road, a committed faith will always follow Jesus. Pre-deciding who you will follow makes the decision easy. Regardless of what others do or what happens, choose to follow the Savior. God calls us to make that commitment and walk faithfully in His direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Like Joshua, declare your intent: serve the Lord, no matter what.
