Ron and I could barely see the ground in front of us, and we couldn\u2019t see the ocean beside us. The only time I\u2019ve experienced this eerie phenomenon, it felt both exhilarating and scary. We walked slowly, mindful of the shifting sand and the beating waves, using sound to guide us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Walking carelessly could have easily caused one of us to fall. But walking carefully with intention helped us traverse the beach safely and confidently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Navigating life requires careful steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If we wander through life distracted, in a fog of busyness, we can harm ourselves or others. Walking wisely through the dense distractions of this world requires divine leading. Every moment matters, each day gives us another chance to live with purpose, love deeply, and follow the Savior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Paul, writing to the Ephesians, wants the best for them. The apostle knows we must pay attention to how God calls us to live to avoid drifting. How we spend our time and the choices we make determine the direction we go. When we make the most of every opportunity, we redeem the time, honor the Lord, and impact others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not meant to pressure us, Paul\u2019s words emphasize awareness. Life moves quickly. Each day, we can grow or drift. If we live intentionally, we will grow our faith, encourage others, serve with love, and walk closely with the Savior. But if we drift, we will miss God\u2019s blessings and the gifts He offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maine\u2019s beauty draws us back to it. God willing, we\u2019ll spend our fourteenth wedding anniversary getting to know the state better. Walking carefully on a foggy morning created a lasting memory and a desire to know more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each day, when we set our sights on Jesus, He creates lasting memories from everyday moments.
