Possibly traveling with Paul while writing it, the early believers didn\u2019t gather occasionally; they lived in rhythm with one another. Unlike many people today, they didn\u2019t live a once-a-week faith; it shaped their daily lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a child, my Dad had a dump truck. Each night, when he came home from work, he paid us kids to sweep and clean the truck. Afterward, we went to my Uncle Tom\u2019s store, where we got to spend our earnings on penny candy and ice cream. We met daily as a family and with other believers around my Uncle Tom\u2019s store, living in unity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our pastor often says, \u201cIf you only ate one meal a week, it wouldn\u2019t be enough to sustain you.\u201d He means, if the only time you think about God happens on Sunday mornings for an hour, your faith won\u2019t last. We need more than an hour a week to truly experience life in community with other believers, and the miraculous work the Lord does through His people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fellowship happens wherever 2 or 3 gather in the name of the Lord. Church sanctuaries, local coffee shops and restaurants, or small country stores with a counter. Connecting daily doesn\u2019t happen by accident; it grows from shared faith, humility, and intentional connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Become intentional about gathering with other believers. I do coffees with other women, either one-on-one or in groups. My husband and I often meet friends for dinner. We joined a small group that meets once a week, and I have my D-Group. And we volunteer. All ways to intentionally connect with a community of believers, coming alongside them and serving the Lord together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eat with glad and sincere hearts, prioritizing fellowship with other believers and discovering the beauty of a shared faith journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Reflection:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Where in your life is God inviting you to move from simply attending faith to actively sharing life with others\u2014through fellowship, hospitality, or daily connection?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Joy Thought:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Faith that lives together creates a special type of joy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two-minute read.
