{"id":12754,"date":"2025-06-26T03:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-26T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/?p=12754"},"modified":"2025-06-26T04:39:18","modified_gmt":"2025-06-26T09:39:18","slug":"my-ways","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/index.php\/2025\/06\/26\/my-ways\/","title":{"rendered":"My Ways"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>One-minute read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"940\" height=\"788\" src=\"https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/White-and-Brown-Hello-June-Facebook-Post.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12755\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/White-and-Brown-Hello-June-Facebook-Post.jpg 940w, https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/White-and-Brown-Hello-June-Facebook-Post-300x251.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.honestreflections.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/White-and-Brown-Hello-June-Facebook-Post-768x644.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 940px) 100vw, 940px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Does knowing God knows all your ways intimidate you?&nbsp; My parents instilled in me a fear of the Lord from an early age, and I\u2019ve never lived thinking He didn\u2019t know.&nbsp; But I thought the Creator didn\u2019t care, a lie from the devil that I believed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve had tough questions asked of me.&nbsp; Why did God take my son?&nbsp; Where was God when my daughter died?&nbsp; How come God allowed those people to suffer?&nbsp; All difficult questions because I don\u2019t have an answer.&nbsp; I know we each have an allotted number of days on Earth, and only the Lord knows the exact amount.&nbsp; Why some live longer than others, only God has those answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We gain hope from the Lord\u2019s testimonies.\u00a0 Hope that those who sow in tears will reap in joy (Psalm 126:5).\u00a0 Jesus told us in this world we would have trouble, but take heart, He overcame the world (John 16:33).\u00a0 And one day, we will dwell with the Lord in heaven where He will wipe every tear away, we will have no more pain, and every knee shall bow (Rev<br>21:4).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delighting in the Lord\u2019s testimonies means trusting His promises, even if we don\u2019t understand His ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Prayer:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Lord,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Thank You for giving us a hope that we can count on in today\u2019s world.&nbsp; Please comfort us in our grief, and help us trust You no matter what happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">IJNIP.
