All things are lawful for me,\u201d but I will not be dominated by anything.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>1 Corinthians 6:12<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paul\u2019s first letter to the Corinthians talks about moderation.&nbsp; Although Jesus fulfilled the requirements of the law, that doesn\u2019t mean we have a hall pass on living lawlessly.&nbsp; God\u2019s precepts protect us from ourselves and the evil desires we all battle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gluttony challenges me. I tend to overdo it, and keeping chocolate in my house sets me up for failure with my health goals. Therefore, I buy small amounts and don\u2019t stock them, which helps me enjoy my favorite dessert in moderation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Learn and apply the Lord\u2019s precepts daily to keep your feet from evil. You will find freedom and renewal as you keep your steps on the straight and narrow path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Prayer:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Lord,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Thank You for Your precepts that help us avert evil desires and stay focused on You.&nbsp; Please help us hold back our feet from temptation and win the battle of selfish desires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">IJNIP.
