Lessons come in many ways, through scripture, people, circumstances, and experiences; we never stop learning. We become unteachable when we harden our hearts and think we know it all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAsk God to keep your heart soft,\u201d my therapist said to me in one of our sessions. Until that moment, I had never considered that I had hardened my heart, but thanks to her guidance, I saw the error of my ways. Since that lesson, asking the Lord to keep my heart pliable has become a common prayer for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hardened hearts can\u2019t learn and give the devil a foothold. Pride typically provides the mortar that creates concrete in our soul. Only a jackhammer can remove the brick once it sets. Thankfully, the Holy Spirit has the tools to remove hardening and create fertile soil for the Lord\u2019s teachings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Give God free rein over Your heart. Ask Him to soften the hard places, and teach you His statutes. Remain open to the Creator\u2019s lessons and learn something new every day. Abundant life happens when we learn and grow with the Lord. Like a flower in the garden, your petals will blossom, and beauty will prevail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Prayer:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Lord,<br>Thank You for teaching us lessons every day.
